Robogals
Learn how to program Lego NXT robots with the Robogals from 10.30-11.30am and 11.30am-12.30pm on July 2 at Altona North library.
Robogals is an international student-run organisation that aims to inspire and increase female participation in engineering, science and technology.
Picturing BluScray
Victoria University has received more than 180 entries in the Picturing BluScray photography prize, to be launched in a major salon-style exhibition, from 6-8pm Thursday, June 30, at VU MetroWest, 138 Nicholson Street, Footscray.

Folk fest storytime

Wamba Wamba man Ron Murray will perform didgeridoo and storytelling from 1.30-2.30pm on July 4 at the Substation at Newport.

Printmaking
Colour Box Studio’s new printmaking workshop Introduction to Etching, with Footscray visual artist Lucy Buxton, will take place 11am-3pm, July 9 and August 20, at VU MetroWest. The workshops are for beginners without printmaking experience. $125, materials supplied.
