Maribyrnong libraries are throwing the book at chilly weather by holding a coat drive.
Residents with a coat or jacket they no longer need are being urged to make someone’s winter a bit warmer by leaving it on the clothes racks at Footscray and Braybrook branch libraries.
Conversely, anyone in need of a warm garment is invited to head along and try a coat on for size. Further details: 9688 0290 or library@maribyrnong.vic.gov.au
