Batter up Wyndham!
The 2018 Softball Victoria Masters Championships are coming to Wyndham.
Wyndham mayor Cr Henry Barlow said the event, to held at Presidents Park over the Queen’s Birthday weekend next year, was a bonus for the city.
“This is brilliant news for the Werribee Softball Association, and the community more broadly,” Cr Barlow said.
“Werribee Softball Association caters for players of all ages from across Wyndham, offering a friendly and safe place to play the game.
“Softball players from across the state will be making their way down to Wyndham Vale to compete in the championship, which means more people will be spending their weekend here – a great boost to our local visitor economy.”
