IN FOCUS: Get your fireplace glow on this winter

Winter time is biting – and it’s the busiest time of the year for Victorian Fireplaces owners Samantha and Christian Passauer.

The best place in the west to get the very best in gas fireplace technology, Victorian Fireplaces is located in Hoppers Crossing and has a huge range of fireplaces ranging from ultra-modern to country styles, with a model for every budget.

Samantha, the showroom manager, says the business has been consistently busy since the new showroom opened last year.

“After 15 years, we have it down to a fine art,” she says.

“We’re a great option for those who have always wanted a gas fireplace or have wanted to modernise an existing one yet don’t know where to start as we do everything.

“We have the trades people and know-how to manage the entire project. We manage it from start to finish and we have our own install team.”

The Victorian Fireplace efforts don’t simply finish with sales – the business provides comprehensive servicing to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.

Samantha says the way to go about getting a gas fireplace is simply to visit the Victorian Fireplaces showroom

– which opened last year – on Elm Park Drive.

“From there what usually happens is we get an idea about the room where you want to install it and discuss what models will suit best with regards to heat-per-metre, size and style.

“Christian will then organise an installation quote.

“Following that, after having seen the property and the room, a final quote is created that takes into account things such as whether a surround needs to be built. And then we get busy installing it.”

Fireplaces offer more than warmth – they deliver a cosy ambience and contemporary flair to any room and create a feeling of home, even in the most contemporary and modern of spaces.

“Come in today and check out our extensive range,” Samantha says. “We have a style for everybody.”

“We have beanbags, toys and a TV for the kids – and coffee (not for the kids!).”
