Point Cook man is in the millions

By Joanna Catalano

A Point Cook man has his eye on a brand new Mustang car after a TattsLotto draw made him a multi-millionaire.

The ecstatic winner held one of seven division 1-winning entries nationally in TattsLotto’s $20 million Superdraw on Saturday, October 27. Each division 1-winning entry took home a prize of $2,857,142.86.

The man said he got the shock of his life when he discovered he had the winning ticket.

“I’m over the moon at the moment,” he said.

“I checked my ticket Sunday morning using the app and I nearly spilt my coffee when I did.”

Despite the life-changing news the man has no desire to retire anytime soon, but said he wanted to spend some of his winnings on a new car.

“I’m going to invest most of this and the rest goes to family and friends,” he said.

“I might get a new car – maybe a Mustang.”

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his 15-game QuickPick entry at  Central Lotto in Altona Meadows.

Across Australia there were seven division 1-winning entries in TattsLotto $20 Million Superdraw 3889. There were two each from Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria and one from South Australia. So far this calendar year, 131 Tatts customers have won division 1 draws across the week.
