Police search for parents of young boy found wandering in Williamstown

UPDATED: The boy has been reunited with family.

 

Police are searching for the parents of a young boy found lost in Williamstown on Sunday night.

Passersby found the boy at Commonwealth Reserve in Nelson Place about 5.30pm and took him in to Williamstown Police Station.

He is believed to be about five years old and appears to be non-verbal.

The boy was found wearing a T-shirt and nappy.

Police have released his image in the hope someone may recognise him and be able to provide information on his identity.
