Substation’s Parisian fling

Direct from sell-out shows in Paris, Buenos Aires, São Paulo and the Sydney Opera House, the world-renowned Caravan Burlesque will be travelling to Newport in February.

Finucane and Smith’s pop-up Parisian emporium of performers will do seven shows at The Substation as part of Melbourne’s Midsumma Festival.

Named “national treasures” in Australia, Moira Finucane and Jackie Smith have drawn together a stable of artists from around the world.

Caravan Burlesque has won 12 international theatre awards, received standing ovations across five continents and critical acclaim in 12 languages.

The show features wild circus performances, smouldering songs and electrifying acts.

Performances will be held from February 5-14. For information visit www.thesubstation.org.au
