Maribyrnong unlicensed car trader fined

A Maribyrnong man was fined $12,000 after being charged with 13 counts of “false representations” and one count of unlicensed trading.

Yuting Wang, 24, appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on January 15 when he pleaded guilty to making false and misleading representation of the odometer readings for 13 vehicles offered for sale, and unlicensed motor car trading.

Wang pleaded guilty to all 14 charges and was ordered to pay $2467 costs on top of the fine.
