Create your space with a wallbed

The number of people having to rearrange their living and working spaces at home has increased 10-fold with the COVID-19 stay at home orders.

‘Working from home’ is the new normal for many and having a simple and uncluttered workspace is important to maximise productivity and efficiency.

Owner and founder of The WallBed Centre Von Soboleff says now is the time to consider upgrading your spare bedrooms, living spaces or existing bedrooms with a custom quality hideaway wallbed.

A home office is perfect for a desk wallbed which, during COVID-19, is fully tax deductible.

“Our wallbeds are cleverly designed so all items on the desk stay securely in place while the bed is either opening or closing,” Von says. “It tucks away fast and sets up even faster.”

“Our wallbeds start from $2060 delivered with only a three to four week turnaround – Australia-wide.”

Understanding that not everybody will want people coming to their home during this time, Von has created a way to ensure people can still order wallbeds with the correct fitting details.

“All you have to do is take up to five photos of where your wallbed is going, expect a call from us within one hour for a virtual consultation and choose your finish from express-posted samples,” he explains.

“Once it’s ordered you will be enjoying your new custom space in three to four weeks, supplied and installed.”

There are many ways wallbeds can enhance your home and Von can answer any questions you may have, either at The Wallbed Centre, or over a virtual catch-up.

“Not only can I open my shop by appointment after hours, but I also offer obligation-free appraisals, virtually or in your home,” Von says.

“Safety and social distancing are paramount. I can come and measure your space, while practicing high cleanliness standards, or we can meet at the display centre to go over the huge range of colour samples and options.”

The ability to customise everything from your mattress to the storage components makes a wallbed not only a practical option, but a feature in a home. Von has seen them added to penthouses, huge living rooms, beautiful period homes and large modern homes.

Combining this with a lifetime warranty, seven years for cabinetry, and a life expectancy of 17-22 years gives you a bespoke piece of furniture that will be the envy of all your guests.

“A well-constructed and designed wallbed, such as ours, eliminates the hassle and inefficiency of blow-up beds and the notorious discomfort of sofa beds,” Von says.

“We pride ourselves on our customer-first approach – it’s how we operate and we won’t compromise in this area. I’m available by phone 24/7 if any customer needs help or advice regarding their purchase.”

The WallBed Centre, 355 Somerville Road, Yarraville. Opens 10am-5pm daily, after hours appointments available. Inquiries: 0468 689 859 or www.hideawaywallbeds.com.au or Facebook
