Bringing the club to you

Following the government’s health advice to stay home and practice social distancing wherever possible needn’t mean you can’t have your favourite restaurant meals.

As many businesses closed their doors to comply with state lockdown instructions, the Yarraville Club chose to offer a service that brings its exciting new menu right to your home.

Chief executive Chris Byrne says Yarraville Club’s Home Bistro is a new concept that brings your favourite meals right to your door.

“Our head chef, Rajeev, has carefully prepared a Home Bistro menu with many member favourites and also some new flavours,” Chris says.

“Even better, it’s delivered free if you live within five kilometres of the club and your order is over $25.

“We’re offering takeaway or delivery, social distancing style.”

Getting delicious meals delivered to your doorstep has never been easier, with members and non-members able to order from the club seven days a week via phone or Uber Eats.

Pre-orders are available and drinks (including alcohol) are also available with food orders.

Seniors are still looked after with a $10 menu including chicken parma, bangers and mash and roast of the day, with extra sides added for $2.

Rajeev and his team have also come up with a pre-packed frozen menu with favourites such as beef lasagne, butter chicken and rice or gnocchi bolognese, also for just $10. The portions are generous and ready to heat and eat.

With Mother’s Day this weekend, Chris says Home Bistro will offer a lunch and dinner option on Sunday.

“We have some delicious Mother’s Day menu offers for Sunday, May 10 to help make dining at home all that more special,” Chris says.

“Many locals will be spoiling their mums at home this year, so pre-orders are definitely encouraged.”

Especially now, it’s important to take time to appreciate the little things. Whether it be scheduling a romantic date night with your better half, a Facetime or Zoom catch up over dinner or even surprising a loved one with dinner on their doorstep, Home Bistro at Yarraville Club can help with your plans.

Yarraville Club, 135 Stephen Street, Yarraville. Opens for takeaway orders 4.30pm-8.30pm daily. Inquiries: 9689 6033 or visit www.yarravilleclub.com
