The Garage Sale Trail is back on this November, where you can sell and shop pre-loved items from all across Australia.
This year, on November 20 and 21, the Garage Sale Trail is also taking place virtually allowing residents from Maribyrnong and Hobsons Bay to shop from the comfort of their own home.
In its sixth consecutive year, the Garage Sale Trail is a council initiative designed to reduce waste to landfill and to give locals a way to reuse unwanted items.
There’s many ways to get involved, whether you host a garage sale online or get your school or whole street involved.
In 2020, more than 250,000 Australians hosted a garage sale or shopped through the event, which helped to extend the life of over 1.5 million kilograms of unwanted belongings which would have otherwise ended up in landfill.
