Police have charged a Laverton man with more than 120 offences following a series of thefts from houses under construction.
The man, aged 45, allegedly stole electrical wiring and copper pipes from several sites in Truganina, Tarneit, Werribee and Wyndham Vale between March and November this year.
The man has been charged with 122 counts of theft, commit indictable offence whilst on bail and dealing in the proceeds of crime.
He has been bailed to appear at the Werribee Magistrates’ Court on February 8, 2022.
Police said that investigators worked closely with scrap metal recyclers and the building industry as part of their investigation.
