Hobsons Bay council animates how wader birds migrate to the area

Hobsons Bay city council have released an animation showing the migration of wader birds.

Wader birds feed on the shores in the area. The smallest of these birds, the red-necked stint, has been spotted along Hobsons Bay coastline, feeding in the intertidal zones.

The animation outlines the journey and challenges that this species faces on its yearly migration.
