Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man known to frequent Altona, Braybrook and Footscray.
Matthew Longden, 37-years-old, is wanted on warrant after failing to appear at court on charges of burglary and theft.
He is described as Caucasian, about 183cm tall with a slim build.
