The Western Bulldogs will not play their AFLW round two match against Geelong this weekend, with a number of the club’s staff and players in isolation.
Given the fact that the Dogs already had a number of players out due to injury, the club was unable to meet the minimum team requirements of 16 primary listed players and five top-up players.
In a statement on the Bulldogs website, they said The AFL will work with the club and the Brisbane Lions, who have also been impacted, to fixture a match between the two teams as soon as it is safe to do so.
Because of the fixture reshuffle, Geelong will now play Carlton this weekend.
