In preparation for their upcoming season, Williamstown has signed another new player to add to its 2022 lineup.
Midfielder Liam Conway hails from the Western Jets and is coming off the back of a career best season where he claimed the Jets’ Best and Fairest.
The 19-year-old stands 188 centimeters tall, and averaged 27 disposals in just eight NAB League games last year.
Conway also averaged an impressive seven inside 50s a game in 2021, along with three goals.
In a statement on the Seagulls’ website, VFL Men’s coach Justin Plapp said Conway is a big midfielder who can really run and carry.
“He covers the ground really well and we see him as a developing player for our club,” he said.
