Highpoint is running a ‘Lunar Lounge’ to celebrate the Lunar New Year and year of the tiger.
Running until February 13, a range of pop up stalls and giveaways will be held at the lounge for all ages to enjoy.
Highpoint VIP subscribers have a chance to receive a lucky red envelope with a Highpoint gift card inside, only if they’re able to tell a staff member a fact they’ve learnt after reading up on their Chinese zodiac sign in the Lunar Lounge.
You can also have your name and Chinese zodiac sign written in gold calligraphy, or try traditional Chinese tea with free tea sampling.
Young ones aged three to five years will have the chance to create their own Lunar New Year Lantern. Bookings are essential through Highpoint’s website.
Highpoint’s Regional General Manager Rachel Duggan said Lunar New Year continues to grow as a significant event on the Melbourne cultural event calendar.
“As the largest shopping destination in Melbourne’s west, Highpoint is proud to reflect the cultural diversity of our community and bring the annual celebration of luck and prosperity to life in a uniquely engaging way for all Highpoint customers to enjoy.”
The Highpoint Lunar Lounge can be found outside Mecca on Level 3.
