West Footscray’s Festival of Colour is back on again in 2022.
Coinciding with the Indian festival of Holi, where one of the main features is throwing colourful dust, the festival is back on after a two year break due to COVID-19.
Organised by the West Footscray Traders Association, the Festival of Colour will be taking place on Sunday March 20 at Barkly Village from 11am to 5pm.
There will be plenty of entertainment, food, activities and amusement rides for the whole family to enjoy.
President Of the West Footscray Traders Association, Pradeep Tiwari said this years event is more special than ever before, due to the fact that it is getting international attention.
“We are lucky enough to be hosting the ICC international T20 World Cup cricket trophy on display at the festival and available for people to take photographs with if they wish,” he said.
“There will be a myriad of activities, food, dance, speeches and a host of other things on display at this community Festival.”
