As part of the Better Places imitative Hobsons Bay council has launched a new project called Hidden Histories, will will run during Heritage Hobsons Bay 2022 as part of the Australian Heritage Festival.
Those working on the project are calling out to residents to share their stories about Spotswood and South Kingsville. These community stories will be gathered throughout a series of workshops, and will then be transformed into a film featuring local people speaking about the history of the area. The workshop sessions will be held on: Tuesday, April 26 from 7pm to 8.30pm at Aa is for Art – 31 Vernon St, South Kingsville,
Sunday, May 1 from 2pm to 3.30pm at The Duchess Café – 87 Hudsons Road, Spotswood and Monday, May 2 from 7pm to 8.30pm online via Zoom (bit.ly/3NXksiq)
