A sergeant from north west metro region has been charged following an internal Victoria Police investigation.
The 51-year-old male officer has been charged with two counts of misconduct by public official and one count of stalking.
In a statement, Victoria Police said the alleged offending occurred while the officer was both on and off duty.
He has been summonsed to face court at a later date.
