Beloved Mutti Mutti, Yorta Yorta and Nari Nari singer-songwriter Kutcha Edwards is coming to Williamstown on Wednesday, July 6 to perform his new album, Circling Time.
He said his new album aims to tell his story through telling his family’s story.
“Within the structure of family there are members whose role it is to protect Country,” Mr Edwards said.
“For others, it’s to protect the memories such as photos.
“I believe I have been given the responsibility to protect my family’s Songline.”
The show is arranged to explore his life via the themes of Country, birth, youth, politics, love, culture, hope and healing.
As part of the show’s finale, the audience will be invited to participate and raise their voices in a song of hope.
The performance will be held at the Williamstown Town Hall on Wednesday, July 6 from 7.30pm with tickets available from $25 to $40.
