Yarraville community members and McIvor Reserve users are encouraged to participate in an online community forum on the draft McIvor Reserve Masterplan at 6pm on Monday, August 8.
At Maribyrnong council’s City Development Delegated Committee meeting on Tuesday, July 26, chief executive Celia Haddock reiterated that council has made no final determination in respect to the construction of an indoor stadium at McIvor Reserve in Yarraville.
“Council is simply investigating it as an option,” she said.
“Council confirms its commitment to green, open space and is presently reviewing the McIvor Reserve Masterplan.
“Open space is a precious resource and contributes significantly to community life.”
Council is continuing work to incorporate public feedback into the draft master plan, which will be released to the public in August.
