Newport-Williamstown Metro trains suspended after fatality

Trains have been suspended between Newport and Williamstown after a person was hit by a train and died.

The fatality, believed to be self-harm, happened about 2.30pm in Giffard Street, Williamstown.

Metro Trains has organised replacement buses until services resume.
