YourLink and Google team up for Tea and Technology

Finding the right computer or tablet can be a challenge, especially if you aren’t confident with technology. Join YourLink and Google for a free Tea and Technology event where you will learn more about Chromebooks and how they can help keep you safe online.

YourLink has trained more than 4,500 people across Australia. Our focus is on giving you the digital confidence and skills to do more online within the community around you. YourLink prides itself on creating a safe, relaxing, educational environment for events. And this will be no different.

In our recent NSW event, 100% of attendees said they would recommend the event to family and friends and 90% said they would attend another event like this.

As one attendee said, “The presentation was really well done. You explained things in a way that was very easy to understand and incredibly patient.“

If you are over 55 and not a tech expert, going into a store can be overwhelming if you are looking for a new device – especially if you’re not sure what you’re looking for. Don’t worry if you don’t know what Chromebooks are. Come to this free event to learn more. The event is designed to inform you about Chromebooks and get your thoughts on them.

In this event, you will hear more about: online safety and security, staying connected with family and friends, using Chromebooks, and how it all connects to other great Google apps including Gmail, Photos and the Play Store. Plus you can ask questions and try out a Chromebook in the room.

You’ll also enjoy a free morning tea and receive a gift bag when you attend.

The event will take place at Altona Sports Club, on Friday, 30 September 2022, 10am to 1pm. We’d love to see you there.

Registrations are essential. Contact YourLink at info@yourlink.com.au or call 0414 320 502.
