Curious young minds are encouraged to come along to Scienceworks to learn about the science behind the human body’s excretions and the history behind the iconic Spotswood Pumping Station.
Scienceworks is hosting a series of programs this school holidays about all things waste.
The ‘FlushBack’ program is launching on Saturday, December 17, including an augmented reality experience travelling back through the history of the Spotswood Pumping Station.
‘From Sandwich to Sewage’ tells the story of how food travels through our body and travels from the toilet into the sewage system.
The Ask Us team will be answering all tricky questions about waste from Friday, December 16 to Thursday, December 22.
Other programs on show will include ‘What’s With the Weather?’ and ‘Lights, Energy, Action!’.
