Four arrested following Keilor Park home invasion

Four males were arrested in Yarraville after a home invasion in Keilor Park.

Police have been told that six males allegedly attended a house on Quinella Close on Wednesday, May 24, about 10.50pm.

The victim, a 33-year-old male, ran outside and allegedly observed the males running away before getting into a grey 2016 Mercedes B G63 wagon.

It is alleged the group then drove straight towards the victim before getting out of their vehicle armed with machetes.

It is believed the victim managed to escape the property with his partner, baby and dog.

The group then allegedly fled in a grey Mercedes and the victim’s white Volkswagen Golf.

Police believe the parties were not known to each other.

The males were arrested by detectives yesterday.

An 18-year-old Albion man and a 17-year-old Wyndham Vale male have both been remanded in custody.

A 22-year-old Yarraville man has been released pending further inquiries.

A 16-year-old male has been bailed to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
