Chance to become a community liaison

Expressions of interest are now open to become a member of the Community Liaison Group (CLG) for the The West Gate Tunnel Project.

The West Gate Tunnel Project are seeking expressions of interest from people to represent Maribyrnong suburbs including Spotswood, Docklands and Footscray.

The Community Liaison Group (CLG) has been established by WGTP MTIA as an avenue for community involvement during the construction/delivery phase of the West Gate Tunnel Project.

They meet regularly, with meetings facilitated by an independent chair.

The group aim to provide an avenue for locals to learn more about the West Gate Tunnel Project, share valuable community insight to the project team and help support community engagement activities.

The CLG play an important role in keeping the local community informed about the key stages of the West Gate Tunnel Project as it develops.

The forum is used to discuss construction progress and plans, broader project initiatives and share community feedback and concerns.

The meetings are an important avenue for members to provide local perspective on the project, particularly in relation to local issues and resolving community concerns.

There are currently 10 community representatives attending the CLG who represent suburban areas across the project area.

Applications close on Friday, July 14.
