Footscray’s Snuff Puppets are aiming to make history by creating the biggest puppet of a human in the world.

Under the guidance of artistic director Andy Freer, the puppet is taking shape in a Snuff Puppets laboratory as giant body parts are brought together to prepare the 26-metre creation ahead of a December unveiling.

A crowd-funding campaign is helping pay for the finishing touches on a beating heart, swelling lungs, long hair, and a brain.
