Yarraville cyclist in hospital after being hit by car, witnesses sought

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist collided with a car pulling into a parking space in Williamstown on Friday. 

A 46-year-old Yarraville man was taken to The Alfred with serious injuries.

Police believe numerous people witnessed the incident in Nelson Place about 5pm. 

Police believe a silver Toyota Aurion was pulling into a car parking space when it hit a south-bound cyclist.

The driver was a 40-year-old Altona woman.
