In an exciting move to enhance winter activities and attract more visitors, Hobsons Bay council has announced free parking across the municipality for three months.
Metered parking is free on Nelson Place and throughout Hobsons Bay from June 21 to September 1.
During the June-July school holiday, many events take place in the areas, including The Winter in Williamstown, which celebrates the chilliest season with outdoor winter fun, community connections and live entertainment.
This initiative is part of the council’s budget allocation to activate the Williamstown precinct, making shopping, dining and entertainment more accessible for residents and visitors.
