Police are on the hunt for offenders believed to be responsible for an aggravated burglary and assaults in Altona Meadows earlier this week.
It is believed the offenders gained access, via a door, to a property on Victoria Street about 8.30pm on Monday, January 20.
The offenders then assaulted a man and a woman who were home at the time, with the man later taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have been unable to locate the offenders.
At this stage it is unclear if any items were stolen from the property.
The investigation remains ongoing.
