Police investigate West Footscray critical collision

A man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in West Footscray this morning.

It is understood a vehicle struck the male pedestrian on Geelong Street at about 8.20am on Monday, May 12.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene.

Geelong Street is expected to be closed for some time while police investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
