A fire at a Maidstone church early on Sunday morning is being treated as suspicious.
Fire crews were called to the church on Richelieu Street just after 1am on 8 February after callers to triple zero reported that the building was on fire.
The front section and roof space of the single storey weatherboard building were alight by the time firefighters arrived and crews worked quickly to stop the fire from causing major damage.
The fire was deemed under control at 1.18am.
Victoria Police who are now investigating the cause of the blaze.
