Fans can return to the moment Melbourne’s Skyhooks changed the face of rock’n’roll in Australia forever when legendary guitarist Bob ‘Bongo’ Starkie celebrates the 40th anniversary of the release of Living in the 70s in Yarraville this month.
The rock icon will lead the charge for a night of Skyhooks hits, celebrating the release of what became the highest-selling album by a local act in Australia at that time.
Starkie says he’s looking forward to sharing a night of electric riffs and great memories.
He will perform at Yarraville Live, 135 Stephen Street, Yarraville, on Saturday, July 12.
