Nose broken in road attack

Police are on the hunt for a man who broke a Williams Landing man’s nose during a road rage incident last Thursday. Werribee’s Sergeant Shannon Thompson said police were investigating the attack that took place near the Westside Hotel in Laverton at 5.45am. Police believe a man of Pacific Islander appearance swerved his concreting truck, swiping the driver-side mirror of the other man’s car. The aggressor drove alongside the car and, driving on the wrong side of the road, attempted to run it off the road. An altercation then took place in which the alleged offender broke the Williams Landing man’s nose. The 31-year-old victim, who was on his way home from work, drove himself to Werribee Mercy Hospital, where he received three stitches. The man police want to talk
to is believed to be aged between 35 and 45.

He was wearing a white jacket with dark lining, pants with a striped pattern and black dress shoes. Information to 1800 333 000.
