Four-year-old Zara joined members of Maribyrnong’s Aboriginal community when they came together to mark NAIDOC Week at a flag-raising and smoking ceremony at Maribyrnong Town Hall in Footscray last Thursday.
NAIDOC Week celebrations are held around Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
