A Braybrook primary school has been adding up the benefits of an innovative maths- teaching program. Victoria University students studying to be teachers have been spending Mondays “micro teaching” pupils at Dinjerra Primary School. Student teachers such as Dale Duggan and Samantha Lane (pictured back) each take a small group of Dinjerra pupils from grade 3-6 and runs maths workshops, teaching new ways to work on problems and think about maths.
