Williamstown Seagulls won a thrilling local derby against Wyndham Tigers in the opening round of the Football Integration Development Association on Sunday at Warringa Crescent Reserve.
After a tight first half, the Seagulls kicked four goals in the third quarter to go into the last break 16 points up.
The Tigers hit the front in the dying minutes before a Kelvin O’Connor goal just before the siren gave the Seagulls the 9.12 (66) – 9.7 (61) win.
The Gulls’ next match is against North Ballarat at Fearon Reserve, Williamstown, on April 27.
