A free junior cricket clinic will be held every Saturday morning
during this month and next at McIvor Reserve, Francis Street,
Yarraville. Any boy or girl between 6 and 12 can attend activities from
9.30-10.30am. The clinic is conducted by Terry Martin, an accredited
cricket coach with more than 40 years’ experience.

FREEZE FRAME

Maribyrnong Freeza presents the annual Freeze Frame Film Festival,
showcasing short films made by young people in Maribyrnong. 7-9pm,

SWIMTEMBER

The Footscray swimming and water polo clubs are joining Swimming
Victoria for “Swimtember” from 9.30am-1pm September 8 and 15. The event
involves a challenge for participants to raise awareness about men’s health issues and raise funds for The Alfred Hospital. It’s at Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre, 1 Aquatic Drive, Maribyrnong.
