Teen charged over Maribyrnong, Hoppers Crossing sex attacks

A 15-year-old boy has been charged over two violent sex attacks in Melbourne’s west in the past six months. Police have alleged the teenager punched a jogger in the face at Maribyrnong and sexually assaulted her last month.

They have also claimed he assaulted a woman in the Hoppers Crossing station car park in November. The boy has been charged with rape, false imprisonment, robbery, theft and assault offences. He was remanded in custody to appear in a children’s court at a later date.
