Self help the aim at Footscray’s new Centrelink service centre

CENTRELINK services will be easier to access following the opening of Footscray’s new Centrelink service centre.

Officially opened on Monday by Gellibrand MP Nicola Roxon, the new purpose-built centre has extra service desks and facilities.

Ms Roxon (pictured with customer service officer Ksenija Marinkovic) said: “Offering more options for self-service will provide people with the flexibility to use online and phone services to conduct their Centrelink and Medicare business.

“The new site is very close to Footscray railway station and within walking distance of the main shopping precinct.”

The centre, at 75 Moore Street, is open 8.30am-4.30pm weekdays.
