ALTONA Laverton Historical Society president Peter Weaver enjoys tea in the leadup to his group’s All Things Tea exhibition — an impressive display of tea cosies, teapots and tea sets.
All Things Tea, which also reflects on the history of tea, coincides with Australian Heritage Week.
The exhibition is at Altona Homestead, 128 Queen Street, Altona, until May 5. It’s open on Tuesdays from 11am-2pm and Saturdays, 10am-noon. Altona homestead is also inviting tea lovers to indulge in a celebratory high tea on the weekends of April 13-14 and 20-21 from 11am-4pm each day.
