Thousands attended Saturday’s Altona Beach Festival, which ended with a spectacular fireworks display.
Many enjoyed beach volleyball while festival visitors revelled in performances by local groups and headline act BABBA.
Altona Laverton Historical Society president Peter Weaver said this year’s festival was bigger and better. “It’s just growing every year.”
