BIKEBUG rider and 3 Day Tour winner Adam Murchie took out the Footscray Cycling Club’s A grade graded criterium in a brutal race featuring two professional riders on Saturday.
By midway, Murchie, ex-world track pursuit champ Nathan Page and seasoned veteran Ben O’Leary had broken away.
With O’Leary leading out the trio on the last lap, it came down to a dual between Murchie and Page, with Murchie holding off his rival to win.
