Footscray’s finest purveyors of surf/rockabilly are back on the scene with a brand new album. La Bastard will launch Tales from the Beyond on Friday, February 8, at The Spotted Mallard, 314 Sydney Road, Brunswick.
Recorded with Rocket Science’s Paul Maybury, Tales infuses the band’s trademark sound and energy with a sultry, moody underbelly.
There will also be The Rechords delivering their Americana, western swing and rockabilly, as well as country-punk-bluegrass four-piece Cherrywood. Tickets are $12 at the door.
