Disadvantaged families in Melbourne’s west joined in pre-Christmas festivities last week thanks to the 20th Man Fund.
Fund founder Les Twentyman (pictured with Julie Zulic, of Le Pine Funerals) said Australia had more than 600,000 disadvantaged children, many of their parents struggling to provide basic necessities.
“Some children won’t be getting presents at Christmas unless we do something to help.”
Children at the Christmas lunch at Lazy Moes in Maribyrnong were presented with Christmas gifts donated by the community via Le Pine Funerals.
