MARIBYRNONG Council has given home hardware giant Bunnings the green light to redevelop the former Forges site in West Footscray.
The $54 million project, on Geelong Road at the corner of Geelong Street, would create more than 210 jobs for the area and 370 during construction phase.
The new development is due to be completed by mid-2014.
