POLICE have charged a man with murder over a shooting in West Footscray on Monday afternoon.
Her body was found in the middle of Clive Street, West Footscray, just after
2.30pm. Witnesses reported hearing an argument and that the weapon was resting
on the woman’s body.
Homicide detectives charged Phillip Bracken, 45, of West Footscray with
murder overnight.
He was remanded at an out-of-sessions court hearing and is expected to appear
later today in the Melbourne Magistrates Court.
