Koby Stevens picks Western Bulldogs

WEST Coast midfielder Koby Stevens has nominated the Western Bulldogs as his
preferred club as he seeks a trade back to Victoria.

Stevens has been linked to other Victorian clubs but has opted for the
bulldogs, who, while committed to the draft, wanted to bolster their young squad
with an experienced player.

Stevens, 21, has struggled to break into West Coast’s strong midfield this
year.

He has been offered a two-year contract by the Dogs.

Bulldogs list manager Jason McCartney and his West Coast counterpart Craig
Vozzo will start talks on a suitable trade today.

The Dogs have several picks in the top 50 in next month’s national
draft.

They have already traded defender Brian Lake and recruited
father son selection Lachie Hunter.
