Mayor should end his ‘sideshow’
Thank you Maribyrnong Weekly for being the exception, and not showing bias, by not publishing all of the current bombardment of ‘ad nauseam’ propaganda from Maribyrnong Council.
To illustrate my point, your opposition local newspapers for the past six weeks have published numerous stories, again using the boring word ad nauseam, quoting mayor John Cumming virtually every week with his photo. It is so blatantly obvious that there is a council election coming soon.
My other pertinent comment for your readers and voters is: Where are the other councillors?
It would appear the recent publicity for Cr Cumming suggests that he also is the CEO of the council, running the show on his own — and what a sideshow it has become.
Please give us a break, Maribyrnong Council, and immediately go into caretaker mode, which is your responsibility before the elections.
